Football- Ebenezer Kobina Baiden-amissah

A large number had gathered,
Lots more had crowded;
They came with a common view,
And wore a particular hue;
From the beginning of the game,
They looked the same;
But time would tell-
If everything went well,
There should be a winner,
Before we took our dinner:
We were sharing passions,
In front of our televisions

RESPONSE: This is simple and short poem. It talks about the gatherings of families just to watch one thing, football. This poem is interesting becasue other poems about football talks about the players on the field, but this poem talks about the family gathering and the happiness watching football bringsin a household.
